Cyber Safety
On the afternoon of Thursday 27th February, Steve, from Essex Police came to visit Year 6 to give them a presentation about ‘Cyber Safety;’ using the internet carefully, how to avoid problems and issues caused by cyber bullying and what they should and should not be playing, posting or looking at on the internet. Steve reminded Year 6 that it is a criminal offence to bully anyone for their looks or life choices via the internet and that the age that someone can be prosecuted

Celebration Assembly
Key Stage 1 celebration assembly Well done to those children earning achievement or buddy leaves this week. There were lots of great reasons including helping others, working hard and having a brilliant all round attitude to work! Well done to Toby and Willow for completing their key word certificates this week, a great achievement! We also gave out our four half termly certificate to those children showing the biggest effort, progress or attainment this half term. Well done

Cook4Life Workshop
We enjoyed a wonderful Cook4Life session with professional chef Martin Buckley. He demonstrated how to cook some healthy food on a budget. Pizza whirls, cous cous, cornflake chicken breasts and sweet potato wedges were prepared and cooked and parents had the chance to taste. There was lots of interest in having further sessions so we are going to book some more very soon! Next time the children will be able to join you for the session in the hope it may encourage and insp

Celebration Assemblies

Celebration Assembly
Well done to those children receiving achievement leaves In our celebration assemblies this week. Key Stage 1 In Key Stage 1, Stirling won the team points cup and 1GJ won the attendance cup with 97.9% Key Stage 2 In Key Stage 2, Stormont won the team points and 5VW won the attendance cup with an impressive 99.1% There were also special certificates awarded for those children that represented the school at the swimming gala at the London Aquatic Centre this week.
