Year 6 Poppy wave visit

Year 6 walked to see the art installation 'The Wave' which has been installed at the Barge Pier on Gunners Park. This was an off shot from the main poppy display seen at the Tower of London. It was quite a trek there and back, especially considering the heat of that particular day. The children were able to see the installation and read the comments on the cards that people who had visited previously, had left. It was quite a thought provoking trip.
