Year 6 Netball vs. St Georges

The Year 6 Girls Netball Team played in their league match against St Georges on Wednesday. Team Friars have been training hard this season and working on their speed of play, passing accuracy and shooting techniques. This year has seen the team develop in confidence and ability and this game was no exception. The Girls got off to a great start scoring early and retained their composure throughout the whole game. The final score was Friars 14 St Georges 0. What was impressive to see was not just how well the team played but also how sporting they were throughout, showing that Friars are gracious winners, a vital part of any sport. The Team have 1 more game to play in the league and are pushing for a high final position.
