NSPCC Assembly & Workshops

We were delighted to welcome Ann from the NSPCC to deliver assemblies and workshops at Friars. The children met Buddy the Mascot and learned about the different abuse children can suffer and how important it is to speak out. They talked about all of the different people they can to talk to and heard about how to contact help through Childline (0800 1111). They listened attentively to two stories of children who had problems and how they shared them with Childline. A big thank you to the NSPCC for making this so child friendly and encouraging the children to SPEAK OUT, STAY SAFE!
