Celebration Assembly – 18th March 2022
This week as always, we celebrated the hard work and effort of all our children!
In KS1 certificates were awarded for careful listening, great attitude to outdoor learning, focused writing, making links to previous learning, extending sentences with adjectives, great times table work, following instructions and applying the methods taught in maths to solve calculations!
Well done to our KS1 winners below:
We also gave out two Buddy awards for showing kindness, helpfulness and a caring nature to others. Thank you to our buddies shown below for being good friends and role models to their peers.
It was another tough week of termly assessments so it was great to hear about the progress the children have made over the term as well as the great things they have done this week. In addition to all of the hard work, focus, concentration, commitment and effort given in their tests, certificates were also awarded for; times table brilliance, super key word work, all round brilliant behaviour, kindness to others, super 3 tick answers to explain map work, fabulous fractions work, great reading, improvements in writing and great enthusiasm to their topic work.
Our KS2 winners are shown below:
Well done to Evie (6G) who was awarded her pen licence this week and Tyler R (6G) who was our individual Sports Superstar for impressing his sports coaches and teachers with his superb table tennis skills.
6G also won the class sports award for brilliant listening and following of instructions during their PE lessons, very important skills for sporting success.
