Welcome to Friars Primary School and Nursery
As a school, we aim to promote the academic, social and emotional development of our children within a happy and stimulating environment.
Our dedicated staff work together to ensure all children achieve their full potential with the very best learning experiences! Our aim is for all children to be independent learners who are resilient and show perseverance when challenged.
It fills us all with lots of happiness that the school is now open to all of our children again. Our school is at its best when it is full with happy learners!
We hope that you find the information on our website useful. If you would like to visit our school, please contact our school office.

The Government has made the decision that schools will be closed until at least Monday 12th February 2021. Whether or not schools can reopen will be reviewed ahead of the second half of this spring term. During the school closure learning will be conducted remotely. The only pupils who will be in school will be vulnerable children and children of critical workers. These children will do their remote learning under the supervision of support staff. It is important that children of critical worker families are only here if they absolutely need to be.
Please see our letters page for all communication regarding our school closure.
For the time being we are asking for parents and carers to not visit the school office unless their children have a vulnerability or medical issue that needs discussing.
We would appreciate it if all other communication is through email or by way of telephone. The school's telephone number is at the top of this page and our office email address is: email@example.com.
If you would like to pass on a message to your child's class teacher please email the correct email address below. Our teachers will do their very best to get back to you by the end of the next school day.
