Vacancy Position: PE or Music Specialist

About the Role

Due to our current PE and Music Specialists leaving the school this year, we are looking to find an enthusiastic person to come and join our dedicated team. We are seeking to appoint either a PE or Music specialist who will support our PPA provision but will also take a strong role in providing other opportunities for our children. You might not be a qualified teacher but you must have a sports or music background and have considerable experience working with young people.

 

Friars is a popular school in Southend-on-Sea and we have an ever-growing waiting list to join our setting.

Portico Support Pay Scale Level 8, pt 32 £35,745 FTE (£20,009 pro rata). Negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications

About The Role

Portico Multi Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an experienced HR Manager to join our friendly, hardworking team.

You will be involved in all aspects of HR, providing a timely and proactive, customer focused HR service to the CEO, Head Teachers/Principals and other senior leaders within Schools. You will support academies ensuring compliance with employment law, policies and procedures. You will be providing consistent HR advice and support to help facilitate successful case outcomes.

 

The Individual

You will be CIPD qualified (or working towards), with proven experience within an HR function, managing casework effectively, ideally within an Education setting or Public Service. You will have demonstrable experience of HR and recruitment and selection procedures.

You will need to be highly organised, with the ability to multi task and maintain strong attention to detail. You will have strong communication skills with the ability to demonstrate a sensitive approach to confidential matters, coupled with strong ICT skills.
