Borough Sports - parent comment

We would like to share this lovely email of feedback from a parent following the Borough sports on Tuesday.

I would just like to say how proud I was to be a parent from this school yesterday at the Borough Sports. A young man in year 3 was running the 400m. He started off well and on the last stretch he was quite a way back from the other runners. You could see that he was struggling. It was on this last stretch that another young man came along side him and ran the last few meters with him. This spurred him on and he finished with a sprint.

This was such a lovely sportsmanship thing to do for a fellow pupil. I was at the finish line and both received a very loud applause when they finished.

Well done to both boys a credit to the school.
