Dogs Trust visit

In the summer term, we were very excited to welcome Dogs Trust to Friars. They gave very informative and interesting workshops. Year 4 had a workshop called Dogs in War that linked to their history topic of WW2. Year 5 had a literacy workshop. They learnt about how to be responsible dog owners and explained this through letter writing. All of the children were engaged and thoroughly enjoyed their visits.
