Odd Socks for Anti-bullying week
The children and staff at Friars wore odd socks to mark the start of Anti-bullying Week. The socks represent our differences but that we are to be treated the same and fairly. This is an annual event and the ‘odd socks’ initiative was from the Anti-bullying Alliance which strives to make people aware of the effects bullying can have on young people and what we can do to stop this. This year’s theme for anti-bullying is ‘Respect’, which is a big focus for all at Friars.
