Attendance

Sadly, attendance was not great across the school this week. Only 5 classes were above 95% and a single class was better than 97%. Saying that, the winning Key Stage 2 class were almost perfect with 99.7%! Congratulations to 5SW! The children of 5SW were either on the Thriftwood Residential or at the beach so they were not in assembly. Next week they will have… a spin of the wheel! That is something to look forward to 5SW.

Let’s hope for better attendance next week.

Team Points

Well, well, well… it has been such a close race over recent months with Stirling edging the race for the Friars Cup. Would this week see any change…?

The answer to that is… drum roll please… YES!

Caernarfon were joint winners with Stirling in Key Stage 1 this week but took the sole prize for Key Stage 2. That means they have jumped ahead of Stirling into first place! The lead is only 1 point. It couldn’t be any closer…

Windsor remain in third with Stormont still fourth.

With the Key Stage 1 and 2 Sports Day points to be added next week, there could be significant change ahead. This year the winners of Sports Day will receive 100 points, second 80 points, third 60 points and fourth 40 points. It could make a real difference!

Good luck for Wednesday everyone!
