KS1/KS2

Today we had a joint assembly for all of the children in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. In the assembly we gave out our ‘Big’ certificates for recognition of achievements across the half-term. Congratulations to all of our recipients. Everyone was very deserving.

Attendance

Today we explored the overall attendance for classes across the school… and announced our winners for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The first placed classes were probably of no surprise as they had the most weekly wins since September.

A huge well done to Starlings in KS1 and 3B in KS2. They will keep the attendance trophies over the summer!

Team Points

Today was the day… the grand announcement of our Friars Cup winners…

It has been a back-and-forth competition in 2024-25 and we have been left guessing until the very end. Who would win…? Could Stirling hold on? Would Caernarfon overtake them again? Might Windsor come from third and retain their title? What about Stormont – was it too late for them?

This week Caernarfon took the most points to make it really interesting… but it wasn’t enough. Falling 5 points short, the yellows are the 2024-25 runners-up with the blues taking first place. Congratulations to everyone, but especially Stirling. The Friars Cup has existed for the past three school years. In 2023 Stirling also won.

Who will win in 2025-26???
