Today we had a joint KS1 and KS2 Celebration Assembly. This is where we give out ‘big’ certificates for achievement across the half-term.

Half-termly celebration certificates were given out for the following reasons:

  • showing a positive attitude and being kind to others

  • being a perfect role model; being kind, working hard and being a pleasure to have in class

  • being a ray of sunshine and a delight to have in the classroom

  • always being ready to learn and giving 100% with improving confidence

  • being a considerate learner and working hard

  • making huge improvements in handwriting, showing enthusiasm and being an all round learner.

  • consistency in effort this term, proven by unlocking the x16 table in TT Rockstars.

  • consistent efforts and bring a positive role model

  • excellent learning behaviour and resilience in everything

  • being an all round great learner

  • being a conscientious learner, particularly for challenging oneself.

  • demonstrating perseverance, a positive attitude, always smiling and coming into school ready to learn

Attendance

Weekly attendance winners this week were 2W and 3SM – a huge well done to both. They were the only classes to receive Spin the Wheel stickers. The sticker for 2W resulted in a spin…

2W’s prize? An afternoon snack from the kitchen. Congratulations 2W!

Team Points

Would Caernarfon be still leading going into the Christmas break or would Stormont edge ahead again? It has been so close between the two teams over recent weeks…

Well, Stormont has only gone and done it… out new leaders by a single point.

The scores are all so close. With two-thirds of the year still to go, the 41 points separating first from fourth are certainly not insurmountable. The Friars Cup could still be anyone’s!
