Celebration Assembly 1st May 2026

KS1

Celebration certificates were given out for the following reasons:

• great ideas shared in all discussions

• super effort when writing sentences 

• working hard all week 

• effort in English

• great science work

• fantastic effort in English 

• being super brave following a fall 

Buddy Awards went to Poppy, Bonnie, Remi and Frankie.

Handwriting Certificates were awarded to Elijah, Poppy, Stanley and Melody.

Times Tables Rockstars of the Week were recognised for being the most accurate. Well done to Lilia (2S) and Elijah (2W).

KS2

Celebration certificates were given out for the following reasons:

• great maths work working with money and for trying really hard with handwriting

• being resilient with writing

• working very sensibly and independently in maths 

• work with instructions

• effort with writing

• improved confidence, producing more and going back and editing work

• working with and reciting poetry

• always being keen in learning as well as being kind and supportive 

• demonstrating lots of resilience and being ready to learn in all maths lessons

• solving maths problems with coordinates showing great perseverance and resilience 

• xincreased participation in English lessons

• extra effort in all of work

• becoming a mini-teacher and helping others in the times tables afternoons

• regularly taking part in class discussions and helping and working with peers 

• being active in maths lessons, explaining understanding and working out errors independently

Times Tables Rockstars of the Week were recognised for being the most accurate. Well done to Sophia in 3^rd (5B), Faith in 2^nd (4L) and Oscar in 1^st (3SP).

Computer Class of the Week: 3SM

Handwriting Certificates were awarded to  Adwitya, Tanner, Lyra-Mail, Skylar, Adhaat and Molly.

Attendance

Wow... lots of classes receiving Spin the Wheel stickers this week... 

In Key Stage 1 our winner was Starlings, and both Starlings and 2S were awarded stickers. In Key Stage 2 our winner was 5AW. 3SM, 3SP and 5B were also given stickers! 

The sticker for 3SP meant a spin of the wheel and their prize was a class picnic! What a great prize especially with this nicer weather!

Team Points

This week had joint winners in Key Stage 1 with Caernarfon and Stormont sharing the honours. In Key Stage 2 it was another win for Windsor.

Windsor are now only 1 point behind Stirling who are in third. Well done Windsor... you have really pulled together as a team and are certainly back in the running.
