Celebration Assembly

Another brilliant week at Friars saw lots more certificates and awards being given out.

Our KS1 winners demonstrated such great attributes as working hard to improve their writing, giving 110% in everything they do, super listening skills and maximum enthusiasm to their learning. Well done to all of our winners pictured below. Over 30 key word certificates and 2 Rainbow Reader awards were also given out across KS1 – A great job!

The children earning awards in KS2 have shown resilience, perseverance, great effort and hard work in their work this week. Congratulations to our winners shown below.

Our KS1 buddies have shown over the week that they can help include other children on the playground, share kindly with others and generally be an all-round good friend to their peers. They all deserve a big well done and thank you for being excellent role models to others by demonstrating these important values of our school.

This week in KS1, the Team Cup was shared three ways with Caernarfon, Windsor and Sterling sharing the trophy. In KS2 Windsor made it a double celebration!

The KS1 attendance cup was won by 1C this week who recorded 98.3%, while Class 5BW continued their dominance with another win and the best attendance record in school this week of 99.3%.

Our PE Superstars this week were Aaron Osborne in 3JD and Class 3ML who won the class award.

A huge well done to all of our winners this week!
