KS1

In our KS1 assembly, certificates were given out for the following reasons:

  • improved presentation

  • making sentences longer

  • performance on Sports Day

  • being an enthusiastic learner

  • answering questions at the zoo

  • impressive knowledge about habitats

Buddy awards were given to Aubrey, Harry M, Cali-Rose.

KS2

In our KS2 assembly, certificates were given out for lots of reasons including hard work and perseverance, box designing and making and effort during assessment week.

Times Tables Rockstars of the Week were Frankie, Sophia, Felicity, Kamsi, Vinnie, Bluebella.

Attendance

So… last week we had 5SW earn a spin of the wheel but as the class was out of school it did not happen. This week it did… Uniquely the wheel landed between two prizes… 15 minutes of iPad time and a singing concert from Mr. McClay. The children were allowed to choose the prize they wanted, and they chose… the concert! Unbelievable and very unexpected!

This week’s Key Stage 1 winner was 2W! In Key Stage 2 it was 5SW. 2W, 5SW, 3B and 4S all received stickers. Well done!

Team Points

Last week Caernarfon overtook Stirling at the top of the Team Points Tree. Would they still be there this week? It was only a one-point lead…

Caernarfon are still Number 1. But… so are… Stirling. We have joint leaders for the first time this year. In KS1 this week it was a joint win for Stirling and Stormont and in KS2 it was a joint win for Caernarfon and Stirling.

In next week’s celebration assembly we will be announcing the overall Sports Day winners which will mean lots of team points to add on. It could make a massive difference!
