Another brilliant week at Friars full of celebration for the great work achieved.

Rainbow Readers

This week 2S hit the heights with Rainbow Reader awards. Well done to Harry, Beth, Caleb and Etty for reading at home so often, to earn these awards.

Buddy Awards

Tommy (1B) was nominated for a Buddy award by his classmates for saying kind words to another child. Thank you Tommy for being such a good friend and a role model to others.

Shout Outs!

This week our assembly ‘shout outs’ went to: Louie (1B), Tommy (1C), Rosie (2B) the whole of 4B, Braiden (4S), Mrs Nixon, Kingsley (5BW), Kady & Emily (6D). Well done to all and thank you for being brilliant!

Pen Licences

We always love awarding pen licences because they demonstrate consistent improvement in handwriting over a period of time. Congratulations to Travis & Ayah in 4S for earning their pen licences this week.

PE Superstars

Excellent hockey technique and great participation from Jeffrey in class 5BW saw him earn the individual PE superstar award, while Class 4B earnt the class award for demonstrating super sportsmanship in PE.

Attendance

In KS1, Class 1B reclaimed the attendance cup with 97%. In KS2, class 5VW romped to victory with an even more impressive 97.3%. Well done to both classes!

Team Points

Well done to Stormont (green) who won, not the KS2 cup but also shared the KS1 cup with Stirling (blue). Green is the colour this week.

After half term, we will be adding even more emphasis to our weekly team points by keeping a running total each week with a special celebration at the end of the year for our winning team.
