KS1 Awards

This week our KS1 certificates were awarded to our Year 1 and Year 2 children for:

• fantastic water challenge times

• very good recording of results

• excellent concentration

• scientific research

• accurate counting

• enthusiasm in Science Week and being confident when working with Year 4

• logical thinking when taking part in a science investigation

Buddy Awards went to…. Harper, Lily, Harrison, Ollie and Gracie.

KS2 

This week our KS2 certificates were awarded to our children for:

• focus and attitude to learning

• excellent recount writing about Year 6’s Isle of Wight week and Southend Week

• fascination in science

• great Science Week homework

• accuracy and speed in maths

• setting up a group experiment

• being supportive to Year 2 buddies

• super work around fair testing in science

• working well with a partner

• sheer enthusiasm across Science Week

Attendance

The new half-term saw wins for 1MV in Key Stage 1 and 3B in Key Stage 2. The best attendance in the school this week was in Owls class in Reception. Well done to our Owls! 99.1%!

Team Points

Sterling took the honours in Key Stage 1 this week with Caernarfon our winners in Key Stage 2. Overall, Sterling closed the gap to Windsor ever so slightly. Only 6 weeks left… and all to play for…
