Portico spelling bee

It was a very exciting week for these 5 children who represented Friars at the very first Portico spelling bee. With each school hosting one of the finals, the action was intense and the competition fierce as these intrepid spellers bravely battled against the other schools in the Portico academy, to spell some of the toughest words known to children! We are very proud to report that we came second in the year 3 and 4 finals and we won the year 2, 5 and 6 finals to be the overall winners. An amazing achievement for our school! So huge congratulations go to Molly, Samuel, Sanuji, Gabrielle and Sophie....you did yourselves and Friars proud!
