Attendance Assembly

Today we celebrated our school attendance! Mr Roche explained the importance of good attendance and how being absent from school can drastically affect our life chances and our performance both academically and socially. We celebrated the fact that we are currently meeting our 96% target after the autumn and spring terms. Well done to 2RS who were the best attending KS1 class with 97.4% and 3WL who reached 97.5% to be the best attending class in KS2 and in fact, the whole school.

We then drew our attendance raffle tickets – Congratulations to Dominic, Alfie, Dominic and Kamron for winning Adventure Island tickets, kindly donated by our PA and Amy, Finley and Olivia who won gift vouchers.

We also celebrated our girls football team’s performance at the finals at Roots Hall last week. Our girls drew 1: with Bournemouth Park after extra time to share the shield.
