Celebration Assembly 10th January 2025

KS1

This week in our KS1 assembly, certificates were given for the following reasons:

• Settling well into a new class

• Trying hard with writing

• Being super helpful and really kind

• Making super progress in English

• Excellent symmetrical shape drawing

• Using phonics to spell words

• Having super ideas for adjectives

• Displaying a super attitude to learning

Buddy Awards were given to Harry B, Josh, Holly and Sumaya.

KS2 

This week in our KS2 assembly, certificates were given for the following reasons:

• Excellent work in history relating to World War II

• Fantastic group discussion in science

• Always displaying a super learning attitude

• Great work with multiplication

• Effort and perseverance in maths

Attendance

It was an exciting week for attendance with two classes managing to ‘spin the wheel’. Sadly, our spin the wheel machine is a little broken – but we still managed to spin by placing the wheel on the floor 😊. Well done to 2S in Key Stage 1 and 4G in Key Stage 2. 2S were our weekly winners in KS1 but actually in KS2 it was 3B. 3B are now one spin away from their third spin of the academic year! Wow!

Team Points

A new year sees Windsor still out in the lead with positions unchanged from before Christmas. We still have two terms left in the academic year and it’s far, far too early to make any conclusions.

This week’s winners were Windsor in Key Stage 1 and Caernarfon in Key Stage 2. Congratulations to both teams.
