Outdoor Learning

In September 2019, we decided that we really wanted to make better use of our amazing outdoor environment. After much planning, we launched our new outdoor learning curriculum in January 2020. Since then it has gone from strength to strength. Mr Brady, our Outdoor Learning Instructor, has been involved in the Scout Association for over thirty years and brings with him a wealth of experience. With Mr Brady's support we are providing children with wonderful, rich learning experiences.

Every term, each year group has a week of afternoons with Mr Brady where the children participate in activities in our environmental garden and elsewhere on our extensive school site. The children will develop their knowledge and skills term by term and over the years. In addition to this, the rest of our teaching staff are also committed to looking for opportunities to take learning outside the classroom too.

Below you can see the broad range of learning that the children are accessing.
