6-a-side tournament

On Saturday the 19th of November the a team went out to a 6-a-side football tournament at Bournes Green Primary School. We lost our first couple of games but all the players that were there played brilliantly but we missed Denim, Gideon, and our striker Tristan. Loukas made some incredible saves against all of the teams. Harley was very strong at the back with Billy. He was making game changing blocks for Loukas at the back. Kian was using all of his pace to go up and also to get back to help the defenders and the goalie. In the last few games we started plying the two touch rule so we controlled and passed in two touches. Kian had a couple of chances in the two touches and Mr Telling said “we played so much better with the two touch because we had so much better control on the ball”.

In the last game Mr Telling decided to swap Harry Rennall with Billy Kerner and Billy had a chance to score but unfortunately skimmed the top of the crossbar and it was so unlucky. Loukas was awarded a sportsmanship award for Fair Play during one of the games.
