Family Picnic

We had a wonderful afternoon on picnic day! It was lovely to see so many of you. Mr Reeve led a great warm-up – who knew he had so many moves? Mrs Monk and the cheerleaders gave us a brilliant demonstration and then showed us a short routine to follow. Miss Linden and the Dance Crew were next and got lots of you up and moving in the chorus. There were lots of children having a go at ‘beat the goalie’, and parachute games. There is a real community spirit around Friars and it was also great to see how well everyone cleared up the field. We are sorry the event had to be cut short due to the incredibly hot weather. A big thank you to Mrs Stephens and her team for making a lovely picnic and once again to all of you who attended.
