KS1 Celebration Assembly
We started our assembly today with a celebration of our brilliant KS1 borough sports team – They came second overall and performed amazingly, in true Friars fashion…. They never gave up!! – Well done Team Friars!
Super effort from KS1 this week on our keywords. We gave out over 20 certificates, proving that Friars children keep learning and pushing themselves right up until the end of term.
We even awarded a record 5 penguin certificates to Brayden, Taylor, Hollie, Rebecca and Charlie, who now know all of their keywords
Well done to all of our achievement leaf winners who received awards for independence, perseverance, acting on constructive comments and working hard to get great results
We had lots of buddy awards nominated this week – congratulations to all of our winners who have worked well in a team, been kind, helpful and a good friend to others.
It was great to see several children still pushing themselves to earn a Rainbow Reader award. Special congratulations to Alfie who has reached the end of the rainbow and received his platinum award. Only one more week to go so keep reading at home!!
After last weeks tie, where both 2RS and 1JB gained 100% attendance. 2P won the attendance cup this week with 99.3%
Stormont (green team) were the run away winners of the Team points cup!
Well done KS1 – another great week!
