Celebration Assembly 19th January 2024

KS1 Awards

This week our KS1 certificates were awarded to our Year 1 and Year 2 children for:

  • Being an excellent role model

  • Working hard with writing

  • Super reading

  • Great movement in PE

  • Recalling lots of information about shapes

  • Using empathy to talk about character’s feelings.

  • Super work in exploring shapes

  • Excellent character description

  • All of 2S for being fabulous at swimming and getting changed quickly

Buddy Awards went to… Delilah and Harper





KS2 Awards

This week our KS2 certificates were awarded to our Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 children for:

  •  A goal shooting challenge

  • Presentation with handwriting

  • Sentence writing

  • Supporting peers

  • Excellent newspaper ideas

  • Perseverance and resilience

  • Empathy and care for others

  • A great attitude and better self-awareness

  • Focus across all lessons

  • Lots of hard work and for always doing what is expected





Attendance

This week we saw 2G take the trophy in Key Stage 1 with a winning percentage of 97.1%. In Key Stage 2 it was nearly back-to-back victories for 4S but they could only make second. This week's winners 5BW topped the pile with 97.6%. 

Well done to both 2G and 5BW!


Team Points

Could Caernarfon make it over the 500-point barrier this week and be the first team to do it in 2023-24??? Yes, they could! 


However, Caernarfon were not our winners in either KS1 or KS2. In KS2 Windsor was out in first place and for KS2 it was Stirling. congratulations to our Reds and Blues!
