Celebration Assembly 8th March 2024

KS1 Awards

This week our KS1 certificates were awarded to our Year 1 and Year 2 children for:

  • Always being ready to learn and being an excellent role model

  • Excellent focus and hard work in maths

  • Overcoming obstacles and having a fab time when swimming

  • Always listening to advice and using the past tense in writing this week

  • Super writing about Florence Nightingale

  • Always working hard and being enthusiastic

Buddy Awards went to… Alfie, Ethan and Riley.

This week our KS2 certificates were awarded to our children for a whole range of reasons including excellent effort in learning, fantastic writing and being a role model to others.

It was a close ran thing in Key Stage 1 this week but 1B came out victorious just pipping 2G to the post. In Key Stage 2 there was a larger winning margin for 5A!

Well done and good luck for next week everyone.

Team Points

In Key Stage 1 the red team, Windsor, took first place. In Key Stage 2 it was a tie between the Blues, Stirling, and the Greens, Stormont. That means our leaders, Caernarfon, were the only team not to have a first-place finish. What does that mean…? Well it means the gaps have closed!!! Look at those scores now… Only 33 points between fourth and first and a teeny 11 points between second and first. Anyone could win the Friars Cup in 2024!
